Hey I decided to do a post on wedding colors to see what all of yall lovely bees are coloring/decorating your wedding in. So heres my colors, it's Turquoise & Chocolate Brown. Which im doing in Gerbera Daisies. I love them they are so gorgeous. And if anyone is doing gerbera daisies and needs a place to find them in any color and a great price to just let me know. I ordered mine March 26 and they came in the 30. Awesome lol and they are so gorgeous! And the chocolate brown isnt the exact color im doing but close enough the turquoise is the exact flower and color.
Mine are NAVY and IVORY with LIME accents! I'm doing calla lillies, lime spider mums, white roses, and lime hydrangeas for flowers, navy bridesmaid dresses, and lots of navy decorations. The cake is ivory with calla lillies and spidermums and a lime ribbon! It's gonna be great, I'm excited!!
I'm doing Gerbera Daisies as well!
My colors are candy apple red, luscious grape green and fresh linen white!
Red is the traditional Chinese Wedding Color, White obviously the American Wedding Color. Green was from our days of "vineyard wedding" and we just kept it because we love the color combination.
My colors are purple, fern green, chocolate brown and white. I'm doing purple hydrangeas, green spider mums, and white peonies for my bouquet and decorating with tons of huge ferns.
RxBride...I picked the exact same colors! I just ordered my STDs last night (my first big color coordinated purchase) and I know I made the perfect choice! Navy is so classy and the lime just POPS!
hmaxwell...I'm jelly of your peonies! All the florists have told me that having them in September is way out of my budget.
Great colors, bees!!!
Ours our light blue and mint green, and I'm thinking about throwing some navy into the mix.
Navy is the way :) I was gonna do champagne but my dress is ivory and i want to stand out
Rmdst39: they are GREAT colors....send out STDs in jan with purple and gray but decided they didn't have to match. My invitations are beautiful though, doing two different ones have to post when I'm finished! What else are you doing in lime?
hmaxwell: aren't spider mums fun??? they are like my favorite flower, hopefully they get along with the calla lillies, a mix of classy and wild :) I'm doing DIY flowers so I'll prob be purchasing bulk when the time comes. peonies will be pretty!
Rx...def post your invites when you are done! I would love to see them! I'm going to do the majority of the flowers in bright green. Works out great because there are tons of inexpensive options! I LOVE spider mums! They will make an appearance for sure. I'm doing accents like napkins, matchbooks, etc. in green as well. I'm not sure about the table linens yet.
What do you all think about black tuxes with the navy BM dresses? Fine right? I sure hope so!
All of yalls sounds lovely and it seems like chocolate is a popular color!!
Our colors are blush pinks and chocolate brown with cream and gold accents. Chocolate brown dresses and tuxes/military dress blues will look good, right??!
Our flowers are peonies and variety of roses as our main flowers with hydrangea, gardenias, and magnolias.
I'm doing fuscia and peach! The fushia started out at a deeper raspberry color, but I had such a hard time finding anything in that color that I lightened it up to fushia. It makes it look more springy though, I think :)
Then, for flowers, we're using gerbera daisies as well! For my bouquet we're adding some white hydrangeas too :)
I'm black and white with green. Mostly black and white.. green will be more of an accent at the reception hall - I will have green hydrangeas in all the vases on the talbes, and the backing of the menu cards will be green. I am also hoping to fill a couple vases/ jars with limes & green apples to put on the bar & we are having a white cake with black ribbon and green hydrangeas.
I'm addicted to color, and I needed to go simple, or it would have gone over board. I am loving the look of grey and bright purple, or grey purple and hot pink. I love turquoise and everything. I love red & tangerine... ugh, see my issue.
My wedding started out at Watermelon, tangerine & cherry red.. but everything ended up being red! So I had to ditch that!
Bright spring colors. The bridesmaid dresses are called marine blue, and we're using pink and yellow as accent colors!
I'm not engaged yet.
But I really love deep purple and silver. I also like a deep jewel toned teal and red together.
I can't wait to start planning!
Watermelon pink and grass green with silver accents. I think it's a nice (and slightly unique) combo.
pink and gold for me! haven't chosen what shade of pink yet though...
I'm so finally excited about mine. They are Guava and Green and White. Silver where ever else I need to put something Siver and white are the invitations. I oreded those before I knew what color was going to be in the wedding:)
Colors!!!! I'm so confused since I like so many combinations!! But I'm inclining more towards blue (Navy and turquoise/teal), I think...
(Ignore the flowers in the pic)
I'm using Navy, Pale pink, Champagne and Ivory. Mostly because I like navy and pale pink for the attire and invites but navy doesn't really work with my venue because it has very dark wood in one room and dark red wallpaper in the other - so I felt like the table decorations needed to be lighter so they are champagne and ivory and pale pink.
My color is orange with hot pink, gold and white. It sounds like a lo, but it really came together on the invites!
pumpkin, cranberry, choclate and gold for me.... I am an October bride :) Bridemaids in pumpkin dresses and gold shoes, with cranberry flowers.... we are doing chocolate linens.... guys suits will be charcoal with those colors mixed in....
Clover green, sunshine yellow, and ivory/cream for me. Hehe, I'm a hippie at heart I think!
I am getting married in early fall. However my colors are not exactly fall colors. Plum with shades of ivory, white, black and silver.
Fuschia and Orange are my colours. I'm also using Gerberas as my flowers.
My colors keep changing! The one color that never changes is Tiffany Blue. However, the other main color keeps changing. As of now, my colors are: Tiffany Blue, Midnight Blue and coral/peach as an accent color. My bridesmaids will definitely be in Tiffany. FI wants the groomsmen in midnight. My main flower is the white and peach orchid - which will be in all bouquets, bouts, corsages, etc.
