So not sure how many of you keep up with celeb news…I do more than I’d like to admit!  If you haven’t heard yet, Snooki has confirmed that she is pregnant.  15 weeks which is the same as me…I don’t think I want my baby to share a birthday with hers – haha!

@Mrs Sarah McK:  No kidding..but I guess you’re right she is only 4 ft something so it would be hard to hide.  That is actually one of the best pictures of her I have ever seen.

Ahhh, I’m all alone on team pink! Hurry up August mamas and find out the sexes of your babies so I can have some company over here πŸ™‚

@Mrs Sarah McK:  haha, yeah, I’m not at all surprised by her “doubtful future on the shore,” no way she could survive being on that show without drinking!

@Chastenet: Yeah, I’m so excited DH is finally showing signs of being into it… I feel so blessed πŸ™‚

On a sidenote, I woke up this morning in a lot of pain and was secretly freaking out that it was preterm labor. It stopped a few hours later (finally!) and I decided I need to stop watching “I didn’t know I was pregnant.” I can’t make any promises though πŸ˜›

@Mrs Sarah McK:  She’s only 15 weeks. I’ve read in other forums that some people who show early are the ones where their organs are getting rearranged not necessarily a baby bump.

@PandasWifey:  I won’t find out until April as well. I have my 16 week appointment tomorrow. I don’t know why I’m kind of flipping out about it like thinking back to the past three weeks and hopefully didn’t do anything to harm our jellybaby or that pink spot I had, but didn’t report to the OB because it was probably from the bad office tp I used that day and various back pains! Why am I freaking out about a routine appointment?

@cascadecherub:  Are you having an ultrasound at your 16 week appointment?  When we had out follow-up to the NT scan @ 16w the Dr could have told us the sex, he asked if we wanted to know.

@PandasWifey:  Maybe it was round ligament pain?  I’ve heard that can be pretty bad.

@Mrs Sarah McK:  Thanks for the new thread and the updated list!  And hello again baby McK!

About Snooki…I’m sorry to say I am of the opinion that some people just really should abstain from procreating.

Also, I’m pretty sure I am feeling the baby now.  I keep feeling these bubbles that are clearly not digestion anymore and sometimes it even feels like little taps from the inside.  It isn’t very often, but I definitely am feeling some sort of movement several times during the day.

    Love the updated list!

Sooo…I sucked it up and went to the minute-clinic today.  I checked in with my ob first, and they said to call my primary care.  I called them right when my students left today at 2:45, and their voicemail said their offices were closed! SOO ANNOYING.  I need to switch PC doctors…they are never available when I need them.  So yeah, that’s what brought me to the clinic.  The quick strep (thankfully) came back negative, so hopefully the regular test will too.  I’m currently lounging on the couch drinking a large mug of fresh ginger tea (yuck) while my hubby prepares dinner.  πŸ™‚

In other news, I’m pretty sure I felt some baby movement on Monday.  I haven’t really noticed anythng since then, though.

holy hellthis round ligament pain is no joke, you guys. ugggh. It seems like if I can be in pain in any way possible, this baby will make it happen. Makes it hard to be all bouncy and upbeat about being pregnant! πŸ™

As for Snooki …. ah well. That photo is so effing photoshopped I wouldn’t be surprised if they enhanced the baby bump too.
