Do you definitely want tropical? We've looked so many places for our honeymoon. What about Montreal/Quebec City? Or Europe? The airfare to Iceland is decent. We're doing a short minimoon to Savannah because the wedding is during fiance's spring break and it's only like a four hour drive from our place but we loved looking at Iceland and Ireland. It also depends on your budget because I would love to go to Greece or Tahiti but both are way out of our student budget!
I'd just chance it (but I'm from Florida so I'm used to Hurricanes). Your best bet is a cruise because if theres a storm they'll just change routes to avoid the storm.
We def have to stick to a budget, as we are paying for the whole wedding ourselves. Tahiti was up there on our list but it is not realistic for us right now either! We are now talking about Ireland or Italy. Thanks for the advise!
Definitely look into Iceland if you're on a budget. I know it's random but it's gorgeous and unique plus the airfare is definitely budget friendly!

Any ideas where my FI and I could go for our honeymoon? Our wedding will be towards the end of August and everyone says don't go tropical due to storms! Is anyone else taking a chance? Have any other ideas??
