My aunt just emailed me that she would like to host a bridesmaids brunch the morning/day before my wedding.  It's a semi-destination wedding(3hrs away), so I was planning on going to the location at least the day before.  My aunt is coming from out of town, so I really appreciate her offering to do this, and even coming at all!  But I think it will be too hectic to try to fit that in the day before cuz we'll likely be on the road.... My shower/bachelorette party are the weekend before so that the out of town bridesmaid can be there. And if it's during the week, most maids are school and work, and 1 lives an hour away AND goes to school.    I don't want her to think I don't appreciate the offer, because I really do, but I'm scared that week will be a big hectic mess!!! esp. the day before...What should I do?  Ask her to have bridesmaids evening tea party during the week on the Tuesday or something?  But then 2 of the BM's won't be able to come....and won't they be like...jeez, get enough already.  We can't play wedding with you everyday!!

I agree that it might be a tight squeeze to have something the morning before. What if she does something small the day of at the location your getting ready? Like scones, and donuts with tea and coffee while all you girls are getting ready. You need to eat right? It just won't be a fancy sit down.  Of course, that's only if you and the girls are getting ready at the same place.

I like Charm Bracelet's idea- have her host breakfast the morning of the wedding- mimosas, tasty pastries, and tea would be great to have while you're getting ready!
