@jaguar: I know! Time flies, it will be christmas again soon. My birthday is March 3rd, and its snuck up on me, I haven’t organised drinks or anything. I’m going to be 22, I feel so old.

I feel so lucky that we’ve missed so many of the disasters that have been going around, it’s awful – we’re totally blessed. That being said, we’re still renting…

Our garage flooded about 30cm deep, we were racing around getting stuff off the floor. We managed to save pretty much everything, we had to chuck out a table and a tallboy that warped from the water. But overall, we were fine. My heart aches for those who lost everything, we don’t have much money right now, but I donated some linen and blankets. My uni is doing a big fundraiser, so I’m helping out with that.

I’m from Canada originally, but i live in Sydney with my aussie fiance.

Still never been to Western Australia, I’m really keen to check it out!!  I was invited to a wedding last year at the little creatures brewery but couldn’t go…its such a huge regret of mine!! Are you going okay with the heat??
