FI and I are getting married in Vegas, but having a reception here. For about 100 people, we'll be under $3,000.. which is totally awesome! The Vegas side is much more expensive that Austin!

Even though I'm long married, I am still curious about budgets. When I did a search, before setting our budget, the average Austin budget was $25K-$40K, but I'm guessing that includes more than we included. Anyone else willing to share?
Ours was $15K, and we were very close to that, but we did NOT count:
engagement ring (DID count bands)
honeymoon (minimoon)
rehearsal dinner (covered by his parents)
undergarments (I will wear these again and didn't go too expensive, plus had a gift certificate)
We started w/ a $10K budget, but then my parents gave us $6, and we decided to go with $15K. I know $ is a touchy subject, but I thought it might help other bees!
