I'd rather go to Australia, but that's because just going to the beach kinda bores me (I know, I know).
I would also go to Australia. I am a major beach person and I was not impressed with Bali at all. I grew up in S California, and Bali beaches were very similar to S Ca beaches. If you're gonna fly to the other side of the globe, you want exotic, turquoise waters!
And in Australia, you can get the perfect mixture of pretty beaches, nature, cities, etc.
