I’m from NZ and before Wedding Bee I had never seen or heard of Mossie. I still haven’t seen one in real life, would love to though

We looked into moissanites but they were hard to get in Australia when we were getting engaged (2008).

I am not sure about moissanites but there are a couple of Diamond Stimulants available in retail stores in Australia. One is the Ssssh Secrets range and I believe Zamels also has a stimulant range.

These guys are in Sydney and Perth and sell moissy. http://moimoi.com.au/?gclid=CN75iJPK_rYCFQIVpQodY1cAjA

These guys are online but in Australia http://www.chicas.com.au/

But most of the US based companies will ship to Australia as well.

Good luck

I’m in Melbourne and had never heard of moissanite until signing up to the bee after we got engaged!

I’d be interested to see if there is anywhere in Australia that you can see them in store! Mmm… sparkles!

Well I live in NZ and my Fiance and I ordered a semi-custom ring from Moissaniteco.com. The company ordered the centre stone (an Avarra emerald) from Betterthandiamond.com for me and set it into one of their settings which had 12 .4ct moissanite stones on the band – 6 on either side of the centre stone. We had it on layby and had no issues paying it off or having it shipped to us. It came by FedEx in pristine condition.

I can’t rave enough about Moissaniteco. I know that other Bees have had issues with them but fortunately, that wasn’t the case for me. It was definitely a gamble ordering something I haven’t seen for myself but it paid off in our case! The moissanite stones on my ring just sparkle and what they say about the stone having “fire” is true. I’m already planning on getting an OEC moissanite in a vintage setting at some point in the future.

I know you can order moissanites, coloured moissanites, Amora moissanites and Forever Brilliant moissanites from Moissaniteco, Amora moissanites from BTD and moissanites and coloured moissanites from Schubach’s.

Sorry for the crappy quality of the photos – I really need to get a new camera lol

I went in to moimoi (in Sydney) to have a look and they are extrememly overpriced.

Your best bet is to order online from the US.
