If I’m doing my calculations correctly I’ll get:
70 5×7 Invitations
70 RSVP cards
100 Business cards with additional info
70 Thank you cards
70 Plain envelopes
100 A7 Kraft paper envelopes
100 A2 Kraft paper envelopes
Craft supplies: Lace, kraft tags, twine
Total calculation: $145
Does this seem right for DIY Invites?

I think you got a great deal since this includes embellishments also!

We got all that except the thank you cards for 50 in a diy it. Less personal, but it matched our wedding colors perfectly, and the craft store happened to have a 75% off sale on all invitations! Most chain craft stores usually have coupons available, so we’ve definitely been taking advantage of coupons for all our DIY craft store needs

@mgbser: Wow you got a deal for sure!!
My major cost is getting a graphic designer to make our templates…But she did our Save the Date design and I just fell in love with them!! Her prices are actually very reasonable ($40 for invite design, thank you design, rsvp design, and small insert design) If anyone wants to see her work here she is: (if you decide to use her, tell her Julie sent you!) Jessie is great and such a great designer…https://www.etsy.com/shop/MintCloudLLC?ref=pr_faveshops
If you don’t want to print them yourself, she does offer printing as well.
I’m ordering the prints through VistaPrint… Origional total there was $220 but after discounts and Groupons it should be FREE and I only pay shipping. That’s how I got my Save the Date magnets for so cheap.
I’m spending a little more on embellisments because I feel they will be so simple without an inner envelope…
