I am a large C cup, which isn't huge but it's really big for my frame (my bust measurement is larger than my hip measurement). I don't like boob spillage either, and the sample dress was fine but I look like I'm ready to fall out of the top of my dress any second. My dress has a small corset build into it but it doesn't provide a ton of support. In my situation there is no room to fit a bra under the dress. The seamstress put cups in between my first and second fitting and they made the problem worse because the extra bulk under the dress left less room my boobs and just pushed them up more. Instead, the seamstress is going to build stronger bones into the dress (one in each boob, and two on the side, and two in the back) to hold the dress up better so that I can get away with not wearing a bra.
I am a size C almost a D cup and I am NOT wearing a bra and I had them take out the corset because of this reason. I would rather not wear a bra because it helps hold the dress up better anyway. I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and the entire time I was there the bride was grabbing the dress to pull it up and her boobs were totally spilling out and did look like you described, folded in and flopping about!
I say, if possible, NO BRA! and not only so am not the only one LOL
@Miss. Snowball: I'm a DD or DDD depending on who makes the bra and when I tried the dress on with the straps dropped on the bra I was wearing I obviously didnt have much support at all. Do you think no bra is going to be basically the same as bra with straps dropped? I'm refusing to have folded boob syndrome and im thinking no bra is the best!
This is a great thread! Most of the dresses I tried on I had to ditch the bra for that reason. Want to see FI's favorite dress on me?
That is me with no bra. He loves spillage I dont! When I lifted my arms they literally popped out. He thought it was great...Men! I will not be getting that dress!
I am thinking no bra is best as well. Because a strapless bra is the same as bra with straps dropped.
@ENarcy: No they dont! One would think a pastor wouldn't want his wife flashing the crowd. LOL guess he is still just a man.

So I have my fittings in August and when I tried on and bought my dress I had a regular bra on that I just dropped the straps on. It's a corset so they put me in pretty tight and i DID NOT have any boob spillage over the top of the dress. I hate hate hate when it looks like your boobs were folded in half and spill over the dress. I also happen to be very large chested. Anyone have any suggestions of strapless bras that WILL NOT cause boob spillage? Does anyone know if I can get away without wearing a bra? Maybe cups sewn in? Idk, I know someone out there has the dreaded spillage and it isn't just me that is worrying about it!
