thirdtimeisthecharm:  Does it really need to be that big? wouldn’t, say, 5 carats be big enough? Why do all celebrity rings have to look like ring pops?

I love bling as much as the next girl, but this just looks ridiculous and no, I’m not jealous at all.  Even half the size would be a bit extravagent.  I never thought Avril would be that type of girl.  Although I lost all respect for her when she got together with Chad Kroger…

I would never want a stone that large. How would I be able to get anything done?!

Not the least bit jealous.  It looks like a cocktail ring to me.

lol I wondered how long it would be before there was a thread about this ring!  I wouldn’t want to wear something that big out but I sure would love to wear it at home and stare at it all day!

UGGGHHH. I have so many issues with this. Aside from the moral issue of starving children. Look what she’s wearing! Who cares if you have a 17 carat ring when you’re dressed in your comfies. I considered these things too when I was picking my own ring. I want to be able to leave the house in my sweats and not have my ring stick out like a sore thumb.

It’s just so excessive. Money does not equal love.
