My wedding color is green – and I did a quick google search for ‘green high heels’ and found these cute things (yes, yes, I should be working, but this is more fun!!). They’re from Sears (ok, random…I still always think they only sell washing machines & power tools!) and are cheap 40 bucks! The only problem is they have 4.5″ heels! dang. I usually wear 3″ heels, maybe I own a pair a little higher. BUT. can I stand/dance in these things for a gizzilion hours? My wedding isn’t until August, and the lady at the dress shop said to wait to buy shoes until my dress comes in (May) so I have awhile. but still. oh god, they are so up my alley!
Here’s my dress and said shoes.

They also have a platform toe which is probably and inch, so net the heel height will feel like a 3.5 inch heel which is way more comfortable. However, you still need to wear them all day.

Coming from the girl who has ONLY decided on her shoes… I am in love with those. Get some green flats for if/when they become unbearable, but the photo opportunities are way too tempting to pass those up.

I agree – get them! It is a great deal and if they are your color, don’t pass them up! Green shoes can be hard to find. The platform should help and you can always get gel cushion inserts or something.

Bought them today!! They were about $50 with tax & shipping – not bad! Here’s to hoping they fit and are comfortable!!
(by the way, are you going to wear your shoes before your wedding (if they are a brand new pair)? I can’t decide)

Love them! I’m glad you took the plunge. If you’re worried about comfort, though, I have two words for you: gel insoles.
I got some clear gel Dr. Scholl’s insoles designed for high-heeled sandals, and I swear the only reason I lasted all evening in those shoes was because of those insoles. They were the comfiest things ever, and because they were fairly thin and clear, nobody could tell they were there.

They also have some really cute teal heels (as well as other colors) that are super cheap. Check them out! Who would have thought Sears had cool shoes 🙂
