This is just for fun, any ideas you or your SO had that maybe aren’t the most realistic, no matter how ridiculous. 😛
Mine was to come in on a white horse with a pretty horn attached to its head, AKA a Unicorn.

I think my FI and i are on the same page i wanted a bouncy castle, inflatable sumo suits, a candy floss stand a popcorn stand and a ball pool all of which my FI ok’d.
The only thing i vetoed was his band playing our wedding coz that is work and there shall be no work on our wedding day!

@nearly-mrs-R: Lol that’s amazing! I think I would be too jealous of my gueats to have a bouncy castle, I wouldn’t be able to use it because my clumsy self would definitely hurt myself and/or my dress. Are you doing a carnival theme?
I definitely agree with you about not letting your FI play, my FI’s brother is in a band and they’re great, but we’re having them play the night before instead so his brother can really enjoy himself at the wedding. 🙂

@nearly-mrs-R: So jealous of you right now!!! My FH vetoed the bouncy castle.

@Bebealways: That sucks it’s the bit i’m looking forward to most.
@ladyamalthea: We are having a bit of a superhero theme so we wanted some fun funky childish things. I am totally still gonna try and have a go which may not be so easy in my mermaid dress.

@nearly-mrs-R: That’s great, I love superheroes! You should have capes available for your guests to play around with 🙂 And best of luck with bouncy house vs wedding dress!

I loved the idea of being introduced while “white wedding” by Billy Idol…FI did not like the idea too well “you do realize thats pretty heavy song choice right” well its what I listen to…hes more into techno
he also didn’t like the idea of Pour some Surgar by def Lepoard on me as a cutting the cake song.
I guess I have a weird taste for wedding music…at least he agreed on our first dance song. lol

FH thought we should incorperate camo into the wedding. Um no.
But I’d be totally cool with a bouncy castle!

We both briefly considered having a wandering table (person with a table around their waist with food on it), but don’t know where we’d find one around here.

SO will not be wearing a Superman outfit under his tux

lol I wanted to wear a pair of red boots under my dress and do a choreographed version of a footloose number for our first dance but he said too cheesy and we can do that at home when nobody’s watching hehe

I suggested I could walk down the aisle to U2 “still haven’t found what I’m looking for”.
He didn’t see the humour…

A clown car…complete with clowns….cause awesome!
I don’t think I’ve vetoed anything he wants yet…he’s pretty traditional.

At some point my SO got really excited about the idea of doing a Blade Runner themed wedding, complete with elaborate matte paintings in the background, origami unicorns, the Vangelis soundtrack, etc… He had it all planned out.
It’s not that I’m opposed to that idea… I just don’t think there’s any realistic way to pull it off well. He was pretty crushed when I pointed this out to him but I think it’s for the best.

@ladyamalthea: My FH wanted a monkey. I said he could only have one if it was a pygmy marmoset. Apparently that wasn’t enough monkey for him.
I also was briefly very taken with this floral arrangement:
But FH is not the same kind of nerd as me, and vetoed the idea of indulging 15-year-old me’s secret loves.
