ohhh I love that look! Great job! Thanks for the tip I'm moving into a different house soon and will have a lot of bare walls to decorate.
I'm glad that those canvases went to good use! Nice work ejs :O)
PS: my husband LOVES that guy's show - it's hilarious! He actually put it on the tivo. Totally uncharacteristic of him. And now, i'm hooked too!
Glad you found an alternative that you are happy with :)
(and it looks great too btw).
That looks so pretty! I love it! I did a much cheaper version in college, I actually used wrapping paper. I thought it was super awesome at the time, looking back...not so much!

So, we've already learned David Bromstad lies and EJS is bad at art
However, i'm still crafty.
Amy Butler Fabric+fabric glue+nails=wall art!
Cheap and easy. I just wrapped it like I would a present and glued it to the back of the canvas. I put some batting down so you didn't see the paint through the linen coloring of the fabric, though.
Canvasas: $15x3=$45
Fabric: $10.99x3=$33
Glue: $3.29
Total: <$85
