EEEKKK!!!  You have every right to be frustrated – this is the last thing you need 4 days out.  Doesn’t someone teach these people that they should never say they “forgot” a wedding date!!! ARGH!!  I would be firmly refusing to pay for a veil that doesn’t look like the one you wanted.  If you do decide to go with the floor stock this should be HEAVILY discounted IMO.

@skippydarling:  ooooh gotcha- didn’t think of that.  Good luck with the owner – I hope they can fix it! I’ll check back tomorrow 🙂 I’m crossing my fingers for you!!!

@skippydarling:  Yikes!  I’d definitely get the salon owner involved.  I mean, shouldn’t she be used to primarily working on new dresses?

I would be getting that dress and running to the nearest bridal shop to have someone else do an emergency fitting but I know thats not practical since you already paid these people money for everything. GAH so frustrated for you!!! Just make sure you are incredibly firm about what you expect to happen with your dress and veil and if it doesnt look right keep pushing for it to be fixed! I too am an out of town bride and I had what was supposed to be my last fitting this past weekend and it was too big by THREE INCHES and now I will have to get my dress the day before the wedding. AYE AYE AYE!

@skippydarling:  Four days out I would probably flip my shit and get Gina involved, get her to make the seamstress understand what I need and demand the floor model veil at least 50% off (so essentially a 50% or greater refund of the veil purchase price)
