Drink a TON of water and get some exercise. I used to attend a summer camp where they would only administer pain medicine after you’d had 32oz of water and spent 15 minutes exercising.

And I HATE to admit it, but I usually didn’t need the medicine by the time the 15 minutes were up!

If it is that bad, just take a tylenol, there is no point suffering through it.

Tylenol is safe during prgnancy and the 2WW, it should not interfear with anything. I experienced really bad muscel pain during my 2ww, and took Tylenol no ill effects. I was also perscribed Tylenol 3 for migrains by my OBGYN.

You’re safe.

Don’t suffer.

You can also try having something with caffiene in it. My OBGYN suggested this to me as well and I found that it really helped, just moderate how much you have (His exact words after I told him about my migrains were “Do you drink coffee or anything with caffiene?” “No I switched to everything decaf” “yea stop that. You’ll feel better”…. and I did)

@PeachBee:  So sorry hun. I got the WORST migraine starting at 11 DPO when (right after my BFP). It was brutal and while I tried to battle it out sans pills that just was impossible.

Here are some recommendations:

-Tylenol-absolutely safe to use during pregnancy. For me it took the edge of a bit but didn’t cure the pain entirely. Better than nothing.

-Take a warm/hot shower shortly after taking the Tylenol to open up your blood vessels and get that stuff moving.

-Freeze a water bottle and lay in bed with the water bottle behind your head/on your neck. The pressure and cold typically will alleviate some of the pain (depending on where your pain is).

-Use heat as welll. I have a warming neck pad as well as warming hearts (think passion party) that I use and apply during my worst headaches. These alleviate any tension spots that cause the headache.

-Consume a small amount of caffiene. Hot tea or hot coffee works best for me.

-Rest! Take a nap. Sometimes just laying down allows our bodies to start to repair and the headache will lessen.

Hope you feel better soon!

@PeachBee:  My muscel pain did turn into a BFP, but I don’t think that the two were related in the least. I was working a very physically demanding job at the time. I so remeber having dull low achy back pain, nausea, I could smell everything, stuffy nose and sore throat, dull cramps that felt like mild pms craps but were just always there, also a crazy pinching in my left ovary region, very mild spotting, more brown and a tiny bit of pink. Hahah I had ALL the symptoms.

I hope this does turn into a BFP for you *all my fingers are toes are crossed*.

@PeachBee:  Get a FRER and definitely test. I got my BFP on 10DPO and it was most definitely there…not a super squinter at all. FX for you!!!

As painful as it is, it could be a good sign! I suffer from migraines in general, and it sounds like it may be something like that. Migraines are frequently hormonal in nature, so your body could be going through some hormonal changes (which could be a good thing!!). That said, it may NOT be that, but I’m looking on the bright side for you :).

I think you’ve gotten some great recommendations here, particularly the hydration and caffeine, but if it comes back, you can also google how migraine sufferers get relief without medical intervention (although I think Tylenol does make a headache variety that works on some people’s migraines) – for some women it’s a cool cloth on the neck, other’s it’s warmth, others need silence, sleep, and a cold dark room….

Feel better. FX it’s a good sign.

@PeachBee:  When is AF due? I don’t generally encourage early testing, only because I did it obsessively and it would throw me into spirals of depression. If you’re not too far off (a few days) I would try and just wait it out. I did, and was so happy because I got a DARK line when I tested, there was no guess work and no squinting.

Grab a nice glass of wine/beer/cocktail and enjoy it like it is the last one that you will EVER have (or expresso latte, deli meat sandwitch, sushi, rare steak………)

And keep us posted!!!! 😀
