Weddingbee boards

So last night I had the worst nightmare. My dog, Marley, is seriously my best bud. He's more like a person than a dog in some ways, and is seriously attached (in a good way) to FI and I. When one of us isn't home on time, he sits watching the door. He can recognize our cars auto lock from inside the apartment and his tail starts going crazy. Right now he's a few months past due on his yearly vet check up, mostly due to me being lazy to find a new vet in this area, but he's healthy.

Anyway, in my dream somehow he had broken his hip (it was really surreal and looked like a skeleton in my dream) and we took him to the vet, but it would be thousands and thousands in vet bills, as well as lots of pain and a very long recovery for him. In my dream we'd already paid 3k in vet bills, and I had to put him down. Then at the vets, before we had put him down, they noticed an infection of his bone (really weird, he had purple bones) that I had missed! I felt awful, and so guitly. It was seriously had the worst night's sleep ever.

I made a vet appt this morning, just for peace of mind. It was really freaky. I didn't want to go to work this morning and leave him home. :-(
