I am sorry! but I am sure it’s not a big deal.. I work in the health care field too but not that many people actually stare at your picture (At least, they don’t stare mine! )
When I got hired 5 yrs ago, I used to enjoy this werid crazy tons of black shadow/ over done/ crazy dramatic smokey eye make up lol.. I know.. I know.. Thank God I came back to reality and joined the rest of the world and realize that make up did not look good,
but anyhow,, my picture? lol No-one even recognizes it’s me. that’s how bad it is.. lol It’s bad. I look at my ID picture when I am lil down at work.. lol
*hope I made you feel better! (laughing as I am thinking about my ID picture lol)

Don’t worry, I had one student ID taken when I was sickly and so pale that my skin blended into the white photo background. I was also wearing really red lipstick at the time, so mostly, I looked like floating dark eyes, red lips, and a bunhead. The next one I got done, I had ridden my bike for the first time to campus, and it was super hot outside, so I was red-faced, somewhat broken-out from just moving (all the stress), and didn’t have a chance to put on makeup before getting my photo taken. I was red as a beet and spotty to boot. No-one’s ever really commented, though the super pale one got noticed more than the red and spotty one just because it was weird, I think.

@AlwaysSunny: My fingers are crossed lol 🙂
@mistress_anne: Awww lol the whole pale thing is my problem too. The background is a really light blue, i’m wearing a white top, and i’m just very pale to begin with and it maked me very washed out with a lump of messy brown hair 😛
It’s assuring to know I’m not the only one walking around at work with a bad picture hanging from my shirt haha

My first work ID photo was so bad. I ‘accidentally’ ‘lost’ it, and got my hair blow waved when I went in to get my replacement one. 😀

I feel your pain. Every official picture I’ve ever taken–school, work, state–look horrible. I don’t know what it is. I have plenty of great normal pictures, but those… yuck.
