- Wedding: June 2013
I’m not sure what to do.. From the beginning my fiance said no kids at the wedding, which i didnt mind, his reasoning was that they would be noisey and fussy and it would be distracting. We are having the kids/babies come to the ceremony but not the reception. We’re at a week before the wedding and my future SIL says she wants her baby to come. Then my other two future BIL’s say they want their kids and babies to come too. All three are in the bridal party. We have declined his cousins kids from coming, and now, i dont know what to do. We’re having a formal reception, we’ve done the seating plan and submitted our numbers, all are tables are full. But they seem to be upset that the babies/kids are not included. I feel bad that he said no to inviting his cousins kids but SIL says thats different b/c they are not immediate family. But i dont know if it is fair to invite the immediate fam kids and not the cousins kids. If we invite all kids we’re increasing our count by 20 kids on his side alone and they are all small kids. What do you think I should do?
