Sept. 1st- 1:45am my water broke. I went to the bathroom to use it and I stll felt it running down my leg. I knew that's what it was. I got dressed decently b/c my mama would have a fit if I looked busted (she said she didn't care after the fact, just wanted Baby Bear Safe!LOL) Went to the hospital, got admitted and the emergency room staff was confused b/c I wasn't in pain & walking fine.LOL BUT I was making a pool on the floor. Ew!

I got to a room & pretty much sat there with IVs etc. My mom and sister drove up here quickly and waited. I start to get contractions,LOT of back ones, and the epidural dude would come "soon". I was crying I was in so much pain. No way I'd go natural after that. I almost felt like shooting someone!

Eventually the guy came & I got the epidural. I was about 7cm when they said Baby Bear was in distress with the heartbeat. We discussed a c-section and we waited it out. We see Baby Bear had a poo, so that added more ppl to the room.lol

The doctor comes back, I'm getting a c-section and we get prepared. My SO has the tightest scrubs in the world and my sister dies laughing at him.LOL

We go to the room, they prep me and bring my SO in. I SWEAR we were in there together for 5 mins before I hear crying and them saying "It's a girl!" 8lbs 7oz, 20 inches long! They also said they saw a bottom...why? She was breech! LMAO She's a mess!

We were so surprised and my SO wanted a boy, but he has fallen in love with his princess. Told me they were going fishing and leaving me at home!LOL

I go to recovery for 2hrs and he goes to the nursery with her and my mom and sis get to see her too.

I get back to my room and they bring her in and I try to breastfeed. It's NOT easy and I supplement with formula, but we're trying our best. She has a lot of mucus since she didn't get squeezed through the birth canal, so we have to get it out, but overall she is healthy and cute...and the NEW lady in my SO's life.LOL I'm on the streets! I love it!

I'm not in too much pain, but I do have backaches which I hope go soon. I can also go up and down the stairs in our house which is GREAT!

She's beautiful!  Im glad your SO is planning fishing trips, drives me nuts when dads dont want to do those trips with daughters.  Congrats, you sound so happy and positive, glad things went well and you could go with the change in delivery plans. Best wishes on getting the breastfeeding kinks worked out.

Thanks ladies! She does have him wrapped up already, at 6 days old! Took me a good month. LOL We do think she is just beautiful! She's pretty big.

I didn't mind the changes because when I heard her heartrate, I just wanted my baby out of there safe.

Tatum- I was going to bump it too because I know there has to be others who are having babies, but they may be resting right now. :)

Thanks ladies! Glad y'all liked reading. I know when I was pregnant, I loved reading them...heck even before I was pregnant.LOL I'm glad y'all think she is pretty too. I know it's mama vision going on right now.LOL

@trugem: I learned better after my emergency gall bladder surgery and I was busted there because I was in so much pain going in.LOL
