Are you actually going to be putting the pictures in the book, or are you just making blank pages so the mom can put pictures in later?
Here are some ideas:
Mine had a page for all the "firsts" -- first word, first haircut (my mom saved a piece of hair from my first one... kinda gross, and kinda cool haha), first steps, date they eat their first "real" food, first doctor visit, first vacation, first birthday, etc. If there's something unique that the family does together (camping, museums, road trips... whatever) include a spot for that to make it more personal.
You could also include a family tree to write in names of grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc. You could do the thumbprint leaves too.
Include lots of pages with spots for pictures and maybe make up a bunch of fun, generic, captions that they can glue on next to the pictures as they add them.
Cute idea! They will love it!
Another idea.... include a page about what was going on in the world the year they were born. Biggest hit songs, movies that came out, significant world events, who was president/vice president, etc.

So, one of my best friends (and bridesmaids) is basically about to burst! The little munchkin is due a week from yesterday and I've decided to make him a baby book as a gift to the family. It'll give me more practice with my cricut/other paper crafting supplies in preperation for making my invitation suite and it'll be a really sweet/personal gift to give.
My question is, what are some of the staple "pages" of a babybook? I know I need one where they can record the birth time, length, weight, etc, and I plan on making a page for "new mother", "new father", and "big brother" (they have a 5 year old son). But what else shouldl I include?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I already have a baby blue scrapbook and I got a stack of "baby boy" cardstock, so I'm good to go!
