Baby bump update…girl or boy?

    Wait…is this just like a guessing game for fun? I didn’t know that one coudl tell gender from the belly?

    Or is this like a wives-tale?

    APPARENTLY your bump woould be higher up with a girl, and yours looks lower to me – let me know if im wrong!

    @urchin:  It is a wives tale, apparently if you are carrying low you have a boy and if carrying high it is a girl.  I carried low and the local bakery where shop the woman there knew I was having a boy just by how I carried and she was actually correct.  We never told her what we were having

    … you know… your bump shape has more to do with your abs than the baby inside…

    @eecuadrado:  Yes… all babies are pretty much the same size at this point (like a prune or something). Think about it, the amount your uterus protrudes COMPLETELY depends on how tight your abs were before. That’s why 2nd/3rd time moms pop earlier.

    This was especially true for the January mamas. A couple of the fitter girls took FOREVER to get a real bump cause everything was held in.
