Hi bees,
Baby boy cannotwait is here! (can I give him the nickname CWboy?...makes me think of cowboy, hehe, anyway!)
He was 8 pounds 8 ozs and 21 inches long! Big boy!
I woke up in labor @ 5am Wednesday...headed to my OBs office about 1pm (details are foggy!) and was already 5cm. I immediately was transferred and walked over to L&D and was in pretty intense labor by then. My OB was able to head over after her clinic closed, perfect timing, and I only had to push about 20 minutes (not too bad for his size and this being our first). He arrived around 6 Wednesday night.
No major complications with me, but I have a few things going on that make me slightly weaker than usual...probably still going home this afternoon.
I'll put the longer birth story later if you all want with pics, but needless to say we are madly in love with him!
