Okay...gotta keep this on the DL...but I LOVE baby clothes. I squeee when I see them! I prefer things which make babies either look like mini adults or make them look like animals (there is this CUTE penguin cape for babies which just makes me want to own it!). FI actually opened the conversation to having babies sooner rather then later the other day...this time last year I would have said NO! but...either bride brain is starting to trickle into baby brain or my biological clock has decided to start ticking at me loudly because I am all excited about the idea. It might just be my unending love of squeee worthy baby clothes though....
*quietly raises hand and slinks away* Keep it secret please, as no attempt to bake a bun in my oven will be made in the near future.
Guilty as charged. Here, let me make you feel better by releasing the crazy... I saw these 12MO shirts with my FH's favorite comic book hero on it (one in pink & one in blue) and I just had to buy it! We'll have kids eventually & I'm gonna whip these out... I just couldn't pass them up!
I love them. :: shame ::. I constantly buy things for my neices and nephews that I know they don't need and aren't big enough to wear yet/it's the wrong season for them to wear because it satisfies my need to shop for baby outfits.
Oh I love baby clothes...even before my son was born. Finding out I was pregnant with him...just fueled my insanity. I went baby clothes crazy...and he wears nothing but name brand duds so I was shopping my a** off! Now I want a girl and I swear I find myself in stores wanting to buy baby girl clothes...I have to contain myself tho.
I will say I have at least been able to hold off buying clothes. A super soft cute little musical dog for babies though? No dice. He's sitting in our bedroom. And I occasionally wind him up to hear the music...
We're planning on not buying any baby clothes! Between the stuff that everyone is giving us and gifts, hopefully the baby will be fine for the first year. Cute though they may be; they're expensive!
@Mrs.DG- The family I first nannied for was like that! They didn't have to buy their son hardly any clothes until he was almost one because he just got sooo much as gifts! Even toys too! They did of course buy some, but even around Christmas time they didn't have to buy too much because they had all these others gifts from other people that he was too young for at the time, so they just gave them to him as Santa presents. It's not like he was old enough to know lol
I loooooove baby clothes that look like adult clothes. They make me squeal a little very time I see them. But I have to admire from afar, because um there is no way I'm having a baby for a loooong time.
I love baby clothes! I buy clothes for my nephew (who is not quite 1 1/2 yet but quickly outgrowing "baby" clothes!). I am usually disappointed that there seem to be more little girl clothes than little boy clothes though.
I love baby clothes! I am guilty as charged because I have bought one outfit for a future baby! My mum said she started gathering stuff years beforehand so that when the time came she was ready...since I adore all things baby I've decided this will be my motto lol. Well only stuff on sale cause it is super expensive. My FI doesn't even mind, which is a good thing. YAY to everyone's love of baby.
@Mrs. DG- that's a smart idea! Are you/have you found out what you're having?
krissycake... is there something you need to tell us? Hmmmm? Ha, teasing. I love little tiny kids clothes! So cute. But I don't want to have kids for another 5-10 years, if ever.
I love the sleepers the most. No idea why. I almost bought ont with little monkeys on the feet at Target yesterday. lol
sometimes but i also find i gush over clothes that are way "kid specific" meaning i don't like when they look like mini adults. I love little dresses and socks with ruffles and footie pajamas
(Raises hand) I am too! Anytime I pass by them I say my oooohhhs and aaahhhhsss! My FI and I actually bought a baby outfit, even though we don't have children together yet, because it was too cute!
LOL yeah I admire from afar too because it's gonna be a while...but they're cute to look at =)
Um, yeah. I have a severe weakness for a certain type of baby clothing.
Two words: baby booties.

*dies*
Very cute. I bought my niece the cutest fuzzy little hat EVER!
I'm hoping I can hone my knitting skills over the next 2 years so I can make a plethora of hats and booties for my own babies!
I'll also be willing to take every single hand-me-down that ever comes our way! I think my mom still has our baby clothes =]. If not, consignment shops all the way! One thing I refuse to spend full price on is stuff that they only wear for a month!
I was on etsy looking for a crocheted hat for myself that's kind of 20s-esque, and I found these. And I'm in love. (but have been able to hold off buying)

o.m.g. adorable! (here's the links if you wanted them)
Cheeseto- It's a girl, so it does require some self-discipline to not look and buy the adorable things that are out there. But she'll fit into all these outfits for like less than a month, so I'm just going to focus on what we'll already have and go from there. I've just got to stay focused on the college fund!
Mrs. DG- aw congrats! girls are wonderful :) I agree though, my niece is 7 months old and she wears 12-18 month clothes! Her mum bought clothes that are adorable but became useless because she outgrew them all.
So, I swear someone in life is out to get me... (ok, not really) but a baby clothing boutique just opened up close to my houes (literally I just saw it today) and I have to walk past it every day after work. as if the occasional temptation weren't bad enough, now it's every day! *facepalm*
Joeswifey- Aww! you poor dear! That is super tempting...I would totally be in there since I go ga-ga over baby :) Good luck keeping away for awhile!
I have the cutest little t-shirt with an applique bulldog on it in a bag, under the passenger seat of my car at this very moment. It was on super clearance and too darn cute- I couldn't pass it up.
@ joeswifey: I wish you had posted a warning, lol. I wasn't prepared for that amount of cute! Must. Not. Buy...

Am I the only one obsessed with baby clothes? Specifically, baby clothes that look like they're for adults, only tiny?
Example:
Pink, Juicy Couture baby velour jump suit!!!!!
