Baby Clothes

Has anyone come across any classic, attractive baby clothes?  No stupid slogans, no cartoon characters, and, most importantly, in colors other than pink?  I feel like those three qualifications basically eliminate 90% of clothes made for baby girls.  I always see pictures of babies in adorable clothes that are cool and also NOT PINK, and I cannot for the life of me figure out where people are shopping.

I must admit, I kind of hate Carters. I think their stuff is either too cutesy or just plain ugly. (Exception: they make the BEST receiving blankets)  I have bought a couple of things from Gymboree and The Children's Place that I really like and I'm a big fan of Janie and Jack, but I object to paying full price for anything from there since all that's going to happen is I'm going to put it on Norah and she'll instantly poop or spit up on it.  I'm looking to find more clothes that are in that style, and clothes that are a little less babyish.  Anyone have any good suggestions?

Janie & Jack has AMAZING sales, so keep an eye on them!

I have to say that I do like Old Navy and The Gap's baby clothing. All types of assortments and not just pink. Also, if you catch them on a great sale you will win big time. I was in ON a few months ago (too early in pregnancy to know gender) but they had the perfect jean shorts and skirts for like $2.

I buy my niece Ralph Lauren clothes at TJ MAxx! LOL. So cute and not kitzy? Sometimes kids clothes are just so over the top cheesy!

I'm a big fan of Boden clothing line...they have a line called Baby Boden and it is adorable stuff! It is priced about like baby Gap but they have great sales. Here's the link.

My sister has a circle of mommy friends and they all swap baby clothes, so they save LOTS on buying new stuff, plus since they have similar tastes, they always have cute stuff!  Maybe something you can get going with a group of moms you know?
