Nope not the only one – I had bad bad bad baby fever from pretty much 3 months after I met DH (3 yrs ago) and realised I wanted him to be my kids dad haha. I bawl watching one born every minute (I watched all the new season (UK) they are showing on tv on YouTube I was that obsessed so sad). Unfortunately we’ve now been TTC for a year and no luck – I swear my fever has hit fever pitch 🙁 I hope it disappears once I have a baby because seriously that “OMG baby baby baby” feeling really is distracting hehe

Haha yep me too – I have a little onesie that says “I love daddy” on it! Thou I am thinking of trying the “bun in the oven thing” because I think it’ll be hilarious to make DH figure it out, and when he goes into the kitchen I’ll hold the onesie 🙂

I must admit I get caught out looking at baby stuff but DH is just as bad we have to walk passed the baby section in our local Target as it is in the centre aisle and the DVDs etc are at the back of the store… Thou on those first few AF days I avoid the baby section like the plague…

You should go to the Petth Baby and Children’s expo (think it is coming in August?) we went last year and it was quite informative, hoping to go this year with a huge bump hehehe

@lisha_1988:  yeah I was like that with some of the stuff too. And DH was like it costs what?? When we were looking at the prams hehe – I have eased his mind a bit since thou and shown him some much more reasonable priced prams 🙂 I was hoping I would have been pregnant last expo instead AF arrived the morning of so that was fun hehe I got the tickets back in April/May (assuming it would happen straight away) so I decided to go anyway.

Awww that’s cute! Even thou we are in Perth too DH isn’t a big fan of any Aussie teams. Thou I could get him a Carolina Panthers onesies because he is a huge NFL fan 🙂 hmmm wonder if I could hide that? Hehe now you are giving me ideas 🙂

@lisha_1988:  yeah hiding in obvious places seem to be the goer around here 🙂 I have the baby onesie in my bedside drawer and as far as I’m aware DH has never spotted it 🙂 it’s more the package arriving because if it comes once work goes back DH gets home before me, oh we’ll cute idea I’ll just order them after I get my BFP 🙂 DH will be excited anyway hehe

Ugh not even engaged yet but hitting baby fever, nearly 29 and my friends are really popping them out! 😉 My first friend to have a baby was 5 years ago so this isn’t a recent thing, but after 4.5 years of dating SO with no ring in sight, it won’t happen (planned) any time soon. I just occupy myself by spending tonnes of money on baby clothes for my friends kids!

@lisha_1988:  Oh yes. Mine started in May and we got married in March. We had always discussed babies and I knew I wanted to get pregnant after I turned 30. But man, I had no idea how hard it would kick in.

Yes! Its insane. And once I went off the pill it skyrocketted. Ofcourse the fact that i was expecting to be starting to try now and then having to push it off till May/June never helps! I’m sufficiently losing my mind.

I know its the “responsible” thing to do to wait but screw responsibility! I am just losing my mind that its not even possible!

When i first met my FI 5 years ago i had baby fever sooo bad. I was trying to rush him into having one, as soon as i figured the best thing to do was to wait a couple years we ended up getting pregnant with my son. Now i’ve been having baby fever but i want to wait till after we are married!
