no advice- just that I have baby fever too! We have only been married 3 months and I want to have some “us” time and buy a house or at least get 2 4-door cars, so we decided to wait a year. But that doesnt mean I didnt have to be DRAGGED from the baby section of IKEA yesterday. Good luck!

Definitely make sure FI is on board. Because sometimes the ‘you’ time is needed just for the newlyweds 🙂

I have it too! 🙂 We decided to wait a few more months before ttc. We want to get a bigger house (we’re in a townhouse now) and save up some money first. But I can relate. 🙂

I had huge time baby fever about a month ago, and it is gone without a trace.
I don’t know what I was thinking, but I’m relieved I didn’t act on it.

Haha…no advice here, but just wanted to say that I have it too! We will be married 3 years in September though, so we had some time for “us”. We’re just getting to the age now where it would be best if we started trying soon. Just make sure you go to your doctor to get a check up and possibly start pre-natal vitamins too!

I have baby fever so bad right now that lately I’ve been close to tears just thinking about it. As soon as FI comes home from work, I pretty much say “Hi Sweetie, I want a baby.”
I’m 21, wedding isn’t till 11/2012, I have negative $, no house, and I haven’t finished uni. My head is sensible and doesn’t want a baby, but the rest of my body is crying out for a baby!
Its so hard, and really depressing.

@2PeasinaPod: i have my pre-baby appointment on july 20th! so excited
@Miss Peace:@Gemstone:, he is probably more ready than me! lol, he has a 5 yo already, so alone time was never an option! lol, thanks for the advice thought.. some people really don’t think about how their husband really feels.
@vistagirl: lol, sometime i have to drag him from the baby section!! and we own a house, both have 4 door cars, and i’ve already graduated college. he is in the af so he’s been taking classes forever! lol

@Roux:i feel exactly the same way! i have been been with my fiancee for six years, and we aren’t getting married until after we are done with school. we are only 20, and we rent a small apartment, but sometimes i catch myself actually and seriously considering TTC. is baby fever like this normal at this age??? it really is hard and depressing!

oh man i get baby fever sometimes too… but then i look at my 14 month old running circles around me and its gone in a split second!! haha if I could give you any advice its wait until both of you are ready and yall have had enough time for yourselves to just relax and enjoy marriage. DONT RUSH. because once you have a baby being a mom is a FULL time job!
