in all honesty, we were in between actively trying and not trying but not protecting! Just letting fate take its course! But we werent really sure if we were going to actually get married, until he popped the question this past July 10' but we also have been together for 7 years now!
I dont know about you but sometimes it seems the fever hits you when the babies are all about to be due! All my friends/relatives are in the "Birthing" or "About too Birth" stage right now!
yes totally! all of my friends are either pregnant, trying to get pregnant or are ready to pop out. i love kids but my fiance says were not ready and that we should be financially ready but i feel as if we will never be financially ready.
I was just saying to one my gf about this. I have been together with my FH for 8 years and we def want kids but were not getting married until this Sept so and I want a summer baby so we will plan for "trying" in Oct-December.... so hopefully we dont have any problems and it happens. BUT YES BABY FEVER
We're waiting until we hit at least our 2 year anniversary. We've been together over 6 years by now and we've hit that point where we are financially capable, our jobs are stable, and the "what ifs" have dissolved. It makes the decision to have kids a lot easier if you aren't stressed to the max about those things!
We wanted to take a big vacation before babies... it was sorta a second honeymoon for us. So a year of saving.... then the actual trip helped us put off TTC. It was very hard though!! Especially because once the trip was over I was like "Ok I want my baby now" and we still had the TTC and the 9 mo wait in front of us :)
I grew up 'wanting to be done having kids by 30'.. and just had my first at 32. But I love the way life has worked out and wouldn't change anything!

I wanted to know how long you married bees waited before actually trying for a baby. My fiance and I are in the talks and although i want a baby he wants to wait it out.
