I want to say that I heard good things about this type of food http://www.amazon.com/Ellas-Kitchen-Organic-Broccoli-3-5-Ounce/dp/B0031U9UDY/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1297458643&sr=8-14 or something similar in a pouch form like that. I think I remember reading about it on Mrs. Bee's blog and somewhere else.
I've never heard of that brand, Lillindy; thanks! I'll look into those.
I'm not positive if it's that particular brand, but I'll do some digging to find out. I know they sell it, or something similar to it at Target, too, and the prices seemed reasonable.
ETA: Here is the post I was remembering! :)
@Mrs. Spring: I have no idea what you're talking about. I wanted to know for when Wombat's an old fart, eating big kid food.
@TheFutureMcBride: Lol, I think Wombats have pretty sharp teeth; your kid is probably going to skip purees altogether and move right on from milk to steak. :)
B still isn't too into solids, and we usually just give him little bits of whatever we're eating... but I usually keep a few jars of Earth's Best around. He likes the butternut squash and apple blend. He loves yogurt so we have some of that everyday- yo baby. Might be hard to travel with that though.
When we buy baby food, we buy Beechnut. So far it has the least amount of ingredients of any of the most common brands. I also get Happy Baby foods, in the squeeze pouches, when they go on sale. Target recently had them for .80 each which was the same price as the Beechnut.

I normally make my own baby food, but we're thinking of stocking up on some pre-made stuff to keep in the diaper bag or for when traveling. What do you use? Are you happy with it/does your baby seem to like it? And, if you don't mind, what's the cost?
It looks like there's some neat organic options out there (like Sprouts and Earth's Best), but some of them are pretty expensive. Addie eats the equivalent of 2-3 jars a day, so I'm not sure I want to spend $2/jar!
