Oh my goodness!!!!!! Those are the sweetest thing ever!
Oh! So precious! It upsets me when I see mamas and babies separated at the shelter. Our dog was clearly nursing when they brought her in, and it made me SO sad to think that her puppies probably died because the person who brought her in just picked her up off the street. Can you imagine how distraught mama cat must have been to come back only to find that her kittens were missing? Breaks my heart, but it's so good of you to take care of them now that what's done is done! Good luck, kittens are so fragile...
@vegan- yeah, it happens a lot :( These are #12 and #13 I think of the kittens we had (lost track nowlol)? Most have been singletons though. Two had a missing eye and likely wouldn't have survived without us, but the others probably had mom around somewhere.
They look so stinkin cute right now sleeping!
OHHHH!!! Mr. Pooka and Ms. Sushi - what cute babies you are!! I wuv you! :) *breaks out into incredibly embarrassing baby talk to the computer screen*
SOOOOOO cute! I saved a baby kitten once and fed her with a bottle. It was very cute. Unfortunately she was not strong enough without her mother :(
They are adorable! I have bottle fed 3 or 4 kittens (at different times) and it is a time consuming, yet rewarding job!! =)
Awwww! Too cute! FI just told me the other day that I could have as many kittens as I want, since he only wants a kid (more like none, but we've agreed to have one). So we'll probably befostering kittens not too long after we get married.
And those cute little faces are the reason I can't take any little furry babies home! I would totally keep them, especially after bottle feeding them! Your a strong soul!
But I do hate when people panic and take the kittens away from their momma! 90% of the time she's around, just went to go get some food! Poor baby kittens!
@lilbelula- It helps that our apartment doesn't actually allow pets so we don't really have the option of keeping them! Otherwise there is one little boy I DEFINITELY would have wanted us to keep. Of all our fosters, he was the best. Actually, of all cats I ever knew he was the best and I still get a little sad knowing we dont have him, but he went to a good home.
I have a couple more pics. They are still with just my camera phone and not my real camera, but they're cute!

They are so adorable!!!! We are going next weekend to our local shelter to adopt a kitty for my 2 year old son! :)
Oh my gosh too cute!!! I used to volunteer at our local Humane Society bottle feeding kittens and it was SO great! I love the little sucking noises they make on the bottles and how they hold it with their wittle paws.... Awwww.....
some more pics :)

Pooka had a super full belly and was just laying there like that lol
omg they are so cute! i remember when my babies where smaller. good luck...
OMG they are sooooooooo cute!! I would love to foster shelter animals, but unfortunately I can't since i already have 2 gogs and 2 cats
OMG! So Adorable! It's so sad that people just pick them up...I'm sure you're right about the mom. she was probably out hunting for herself. And she'll come back to no babies. = ( Good luck!
I love the last pic!! He is cold chillin! It make me wish my boys were still kittens!
Thanks everyone :)
I do try to keep in mind that although the kittens were taken from their mother, at least they won't end up growing up as feral cats.

So, while we're not ready for a real baby quite yet (well, I am lol), we're practicing with some bottle baby kittens :)
Mr. Pooka
Miss Sushi
They're around 3ish weeks old. DH works at an animal shelter and someone brought in a litter of 4 without the mom (she's probably around, but people freak out and take the kittens instead of waiting), so we've been bottle feeding them this week. We split the litter 2 and 2 with someone else at the shelter to make the feedings more managable. I'm hoping we can keep them around during my spring break so I can have something to do. I'll hopefully try to get some better pictures later this weekend!
