My guy vetoed Rebecca (my mom's name and his sister's name - but I just think it's pretty).  I've also realized that naming a boy after my old friend Charlie is problematic - psychotic ex fiance was Charles.  (And I'm beginning to think Anne Sophia doesn't suit my tastes.)

So I'm thinking of having the name Charlotte on hand.  Except I don't know what names go well with it.  And Charlie could end up feeling way too masculine to a little girl (I hate my unisex name), so I want a nicely feminine combination.

(This is well in the future, but I feel lost without having two girls' names firmly in mind.  The other is Lily Kathleen.)

(Sorry!  Any chance this could be moved to nesting?)

I don't really care for Charlotte as a first name personally (no offense to anyone named Charlotte - it just isn't my tastes).  It just comes across as kind of matronly / older / etc to me.

I really like the sound of Natalie Charlotte though!

Charlotte is a beauitful name!  What about Charlotte Grace?  I think Grace is a classic and pretty middle name. :)

I've never really thought of Felicity as a name, but now that I see it, I love it! I voted for Felicity Charlotte. I love the Lissy nickname :)

Agreed Grace is beautiful BUT every other baby girl has Grace as a middle name lately. I like Adele or Teagan

I like Charlotte Grace as well! I am most likely going to name a daughter Charlotte Jean after my granna (her name was Jean) and I just love the name Charlotte!

Charlie, if it's the first name, though I imagine Lottie will crop up eventually.  Name comes from a little old guy who befriended me when I was six, died when I was 13.  Was 102.  Had served in both World Wars, lived on his own until he died.  Really cool guy.  The only Charlotte I've met went by Charlie, so...

I love the name Charlotte - a colleague at my work (who's British) has a daughter named Charlotte and they call her Lottie.  Soooo adorable.

I picked Charlotte Jane on the poll.

I love the name Charlotte but none of the middle names you suggested really stuck out to me, not that they were bad I just personally wouldn't use them. Charolette Grace or Charolette Rose. I also LOVE the name Felicity, it's on my list for when we have kids but I think Felicity Charlotte is a mouthfull.

I like Charlotte but don't like your combinations, because they are a mouthfull.  I think if you use Charlotte as a first name you need a short, 1 syllable mn.  Charlotte Grace is good or Charlotte Rose, Charlotte Ann.

Just FYI that Charlotte is a SUPER popular name right now and she will likely have 2 or 3 Charlotte's in her class at school.  I love the name and have for a long time, but it's popularity has turned me off to it.   I chose Molly Charlotte because I just think Molly is such an adorable name!  Also.. if you wanted to give her a nickname if you spelled it Charley it's not as masculine.. just something to consider.

One thing - this baby girl is at LEAST 6 years away.  2-3 years until TTC, then Charlotte is my second choice for a baby girl.  Charlotte is already doing a nose dive due to over-popularity.  Hoping by the time Baby Girl 2 comes, Charlotte will be a wee bit less popular (if not, I'll switch the name around for a less popular first name.)

This post made me very happy! I myself am a Charlotte, Charlotte Ann to be exact! But I love how Charlotte Adele sounds....very pretty, old fashion and unique!

Love the name Charlotte! But I like a single syllable middle name with it, like Mae, Jane, or Rose.
