MrsMcQN:  I like Hannah and Bree from the names you listed. 🙂

In addition, you can always try and search for names that were popular during different decades. Here’s a link that will take you to the Social Security website. You can select which decade to search during and see which names were most popular. It will help you avoid names that are overused recently and it may help you find a less common (but still lovely) name.

Are you going to find out if it’s a girl or boy? I’d you are, I would wait to figure out names until then.

Check out nameberry for ideas on baby names that are related to the names you are already liking.

I love Brynn!

Madden & Lachlan are allll boy. Lachlyn looks atrocious.

Hannah and Bree are both love choices, but Brynn takes the cake for me.

Other suggestions:

Aubrey, Maren, Harper, Tierney, Taryn. Marlowe/Marlo, Zara, Mara, Juno, Sloane, Blaire, Blythe, Gwen, Wynn, Wren, Fallon, Brooke, Auden, Eden, Piper, Eve, Laurel, Romilly, Tess, Hadley, Veda, Paige, Arden, Quinn, Astrid, Bronwen/Bronwyn, Dahlia, Kendall, Celine

MrsMcQN:  oh and my name is Brittany, which I hate. I’ve went by “Brin” in some of my social circles for a few years now, and I totally love it. (Brynn). It’s easy to “wear”, I wish that was my name instead of Brittany lol

I love the name Brynn.  I am partial to the name Quinn though (my DD’s name!)

Out of the ones you listed I like Hannah, Bree, and Brynn. What about Savannah? My favorite girl name is Laina, if I have a girl that’s what I plan to name her. (it’s traditionally spelled Lena but too many people pronounce that as Lee-na)

I really like Brynn!

Since it is your pick left him pick the first or middle name to go with it. As long as it flows well it will be fine, but that way both of you get a choice.

MrsMcQN:  I would wait because there’s no point in trying to figure out a girl name if you’re having a boy. Might as well just think of girl names you like, and then start discussing once you know if you’re having one.

Our daughters are Mallory and Meredith.   I like them because they’re both fairly uncommon names now, but they’re not weird or anything.

I have worked with children for 6 years now and have only come across one Bree, love that name! I also love the names Zoe and Stella.
