I just had to share this b/c it's getting to the piont that I almost can't believe it. I'm now almost 7mths pregnant (26wk  5d) and DS has YET to feel the baby move. DH has a hanful of times but even that took some work.

I kind you not.. baby could have the HICCUPS and as soon as I tell DS or DH to come over the baby stops. Sheesh. It's kinda funny but I think DS is getting tired of being called over only to not feel anything.

Can't wait till this baby gets big enough that you can SEE all movement. lol

    Just wanted to share =)

That's how my baby is, lol. When FI puts his hand on my belly, she immediately freezes, even if she was going nuts right before.

Yep!  My baby too.  I think DH's warm hand calms baby down.  On the other hand, as soon as I put my hand on my belly, she starts punching and kicking it.  Ouch!

@Rachael432: @skibobrown: I think it's SO funny! I was joking that the baby must understand "come here" and as soon as it hear that it freaks out like a deer in the headlights b/c/ it goes kinda like this: baby move like crazy, DS/DH ooOOoo come here, baby stops! lol

Oh well, I'm sure at some point DS will get to feel it.  =)

Hey, look at it this way, whenever you WANT the movements to stop, just put their hands on your belly!

This happens sometimes to us too, but lately DH has felt quite a lot!  But we used to say that the warmth of his hands must be comforting to the baby!  That's all I can imagine.  She would be going crazy, and would calm down as soon as he was "holding" her.

My LO wouldn't move for anyone besides me and DH. She would be moving like crazy but if my mom or someone put their hand on my belly she wouldn't move an inch. Its funny how they act on the inside.

@amnystik: My goodness.  You're already 7 months?!  Time is flying.  That's so funny that the baby doesn't like it when Dad and brother come by to check out his moves.

Same thing happens to us- my solution is to lean my belly against my husband's back, that is when he gets kicked like crazy.  If he puts his hands on my belly, pretty much all movement stops!

@Ms Hedgehog: I hadn't thought of that! I'll probably be waking DH up in the middle of the night alot more now! bwahahahaha

@dj:  I know! It makes me think of Look Who's Talking when he's all like "WHAT WAS THAT?!" lol

MissPumpkinPie:  I know! I can't believe it either! Looking at my progress in weeks does make April seem alot closer than saying "I'm due in April". That'll probably change with the turn of the new year though. It won't seem SO far off. Sheesh I need to start getting ready! eek! lol

@heathaah:  Aww that's sweet! DS has really little hands though and their usually cold so I don't think that's the issue. LOL

@lemondrop:  I'll have to try that! Maybe instead of calling them over I'll just go to them and stick my belly on them! lol

We've been having this issue a lot lately, too!  She'll be going crazy for a strait amount of time and when I say "come here and feel this":  Nothing.  Finally today, after a couple of jalepeno poppers, he was able to feel her really going crazy!

I hope that sooner or later it will get a little more regular for all of us!
