French Onion, but it has to be fresh, not from the can or a mix.

Potato soup! I’m a fan of Paula Deen’s crock pot recipe, but I add chopped carrots and celery. We had it last week. Yum!

My moms potato soup. I know how to make it, but hers is so much better than mine. Its all buttery, potatoey, sour creamy, polish sausagey, goodness. Mmm. Pair it with some corn bread and you’ve got my comfort food.

Butternut squash soup! It’s super easy. My FI made a version with blue cheese the other day- to die for!

Using fresh clams and from scratch clam chowder… and not that red crap. New England clam chowder all the way!

A close second is a creamy tomato soup with some hot grilled cheese to dip in it!

LOVE Soup.

When I was a Kid it was a tie between Campbells Chicken Noodle AND Beef with Barley

In my Teen Years would be Campbells Cream of Mushroom

(Lol the 1960s & 70s… was a time of canned everything !!)

When I went off to College I discovered French Onion… that was a Fave for a long while

Then after I was married I starting make homemade soups

Chicken or Turkey Vegetables & Noodle is still a fave

I also enjoy Potatoe Leek OR A nice Autumn Squash

And in the Summer gotta have me some Gazpacho for sure !!

Now I’ll go away and see if I can’t dig up a recipe or two.
