Well FI and I are far far from children, but whenever we do have them I would love to give them family names, a girl Kathryn Sharon (Kat for short!) or Evelyn Rose.  For a boy either Thomas Reece or Joshua David. They are combos of my grandparents names, plus I just love them.

The only name that I'm 100% sure about is that if I have a daughter, we're going to name her Everly Irene.

For boys, we've discussed the names Jackson and Ezra, but I'm not really sure anymore.... We're still pretty far away from having kids, so I have plenty of time to decide.

I like Parker for a boy and Sadie for a girl.  Those would be my first picks.  I also like Noah and Avery too.

We've talked about it a little before.

For girls: Adeline and/or Adelaide, Stella, Adelle, Quinn, Brenna/Brynn, Lucy, Harlow, Piper, Joscelin/Jocelyn, Virginia

For boys: Gabriel, Felix, Dorian, Rhys, Ciaran, Luke/Lucas/Lucien

Those are the favorites at the moment.

There are a few names that I LOVE that I refuse to use because they are too popular, suh as Charlotte, Audrey, and Savannah. Sad day. I'd love to name my daughter Audrey. Although, their number is rising over the past few years, so hopefully they'll be out of the top 100 when we get ready to have kids.

Sons names are: Gavin and Corgan (both named after singers)

Daughters names are: Kelsey (his daugter from 1st marriage) and Tristessa (pronounced Tris-Tessa we call her Tessa and she was named after a song).

If we have any more children I want them named:

Girls: Layla Jaxyn (call her Jax and yes Layla is also after a song) and Lakyn Jael

    Boys: Khye and William

I like names that are unique but not so unique the poor kids will be teased or no one will be able to pronounce their names.

I am currently pregnant.. if it is a girl we are naming her Ruby Pearl after my grandmother. If it is a boy FI gets to chose the name.  I don't have any particular boy names I like all I told him in a half serious way is it does not start with the letter "B".  FI has 2 other brothers all all their names start with the letter "B".

@Gingersnap: You win. :) Because you like my name. That is all.

@zippylef: I feel the same way about Audrey - I wanted to use it so bad and then all these people on FB are being all "Audree" and Audri" and whatnot all over the place and I was just like "Dammit! Life is so unfair!" hahah. I've loved Audrey since my first Breakfast at Tiffany's viewing at like, 11.

Anyways. For a boy we've agreed on names like: Connor, Tanner, Cooper. The middle name will either be Seth or Ezekiel (FI's family). For girls, MN will be either Noelle, Jean, or Anne (my family). First name we are kind of meh, due to the Audrey popularity thing and then I loved Olivia and guess what? It's number 4. This needs to change ASAP so FI and I can have kids in the next 10 years. Lol.

SO wants to try for another baby in December, and we're hoping for a girl (we already have a DD, and SO thinks it will be more economical since we still have loads of her stuff.. plus, he just feels more comfortable as the Daddy of a girl(s), lol--I, myself have always wanted 2 girls--and, DD wants a sister). If nothing changes (preferences, etc.), her name will be Brinley Anne. DD is Ashlynn Paige.

Another reason we want a girl--we can't decide on a boy's name! Cooper is the only one we're both so-so on.

    * A, B, C.. just noticed a trend. Weird.

I absolutely adore the name Kinley for a girl. I also love the names Alyse and Liese, although I'm a total nickname person and you can't really make a nickname out of Liese.

I don't have any fave boys names, but our last name is super hard and long, so it would have to be like Ben or Max or something. :)

@AmeliaBedelia: It's the prettiest name ever. My parents were actually going to name me Amelia, it was a toss-up between it and my name now. Growing up I always wished they had chosen Amelia instead of Marissa.

So, a future daughter of mine will be named Amelia to quench my love for the name.

@Gingersnap: We could have been twins! Oh the injustice. Lol. I like Marissa though - not too common and has the "pretty" in a name that I tend to go for in girl names. We're thinking about Marin (shortening my gma's name Marina) for a daughter, but I didn't post it above because we're not sure.

@zippylef: I like a lot of yours! Adella, Quinn, Lucy, Piper, Felix, Luke

    Girls: Olivia, Lark, Abigail

Boys: Asher, Benjamin, Eli, Levi, Seth (apparently I'm really into Biblical names for boys, lol)

@AmeliaBedelia I like my name well enough now, but growing up I hated it.

I love Marin/Marina! Very pretty. I tend to go for the really girly pretty names as well.

We already had a baby and his name is Gavin MacKenzie. If we had another boy I was thinking Hunter. For girls I like Julianna or Isabella and Elizabeth for the middle name. I really like names that can be broken down into nick names.

    We're thinking:

    Girl:

    Waverley Rose

    Rose ?

    Boy:

    David Walter

    Walter Joe

I used to want to name my hypothetical boy Edward, but Twilight pretty much ruined that. Oddly enough, my sister wanted Isabella, but she won't use that now either, lol.

Also, I love the name Elyse.. my absolute fave name for a baby girl would have been Jillian Elyse if the nickname for Jillian wasn't so rhyme-y with SO (and, the baby)'s last name. Hrumph!

If I have a son, I'm naming him Daniel after my grandfather. No question about it. Fortunately, FI is fine with this. :) We also like Gabriel.

We have trouble agreeing on girl's names. Some that FI likes and I can also tolerate are Olive and Violet (colors!?)

I really, really love the name Emmaline, but FI prefers the standard Emily. I also like Elise (pronounced a-LEEZ, not a-LEASE), Annelise and Adeline (they're all pretty similar, aren't they?)

The main problem with naming our future children is that my dear FI is bent on giving them what he considers "cool initials" - so initials that spell a word or an interesting acronym. I'm hoping he gets over this by the time we get pregnant.
