just wanted to go somewhere and say "whew, i did it!". one of my friends at work is due to have her baby in 2 weeks time so we just had her office baby shower today and it was sooo much fun and we had so much good food and a great time. i had a bit of a meltdown last night with all the baking and decorating i had to prepare but it ended up a great afternoon and mum-to-be had a great time
oh.. and i also booked a mobile massage person today (courtesy of my office wellness initiative) so everyone in the office got a 15min massage during the day, finishing with mom-to-be getting a nice shoulder/head massage and a light foot massage after the party so now she is currenting sitting down with her feet up waiting for her hubby to pick her up while totally blissed out on sugar, massage and gifts
im just thrilled she had a great time and had to boast about it somewhere because im always the office organizer of all things but this was my first office baby shower
edit: oh, and 2 weeks to go and baby breached so lots of happy baby turning thoughts please because her doctor is prepared to let her deliver breach if bub doesnt turn... yikes!
