Ok so the baby shower is Oct 23rd and I am still not happy with everything just yet. Might I add about a month ago i found out that a baby shower that I was helping to throw was pushed up from Jan to October. So I had about a month to get stuff together and well my budget was very limited. I was pretty much in charge of decoration. So after speaking to the Mom to be and getting some of her ideas this is what we came up with for some inexpensive cute decor but I still am not happy with everything. I really wanted there to be more and this chic party but I thought I would have alot more time and alot more money to get it all together.

I havent seen the room but i was told it is your typical church fellowship hall, it will have 4 long banquet tables in it and 2 other tables one for food one for gifts.

I have not been able to find any decor that I like that is not cheesy looking...

here is what we are doing so far.... I am haning up a clothes line with baby clothes on it We are going to do 2 bundles of  some baloons to sit in the floor

These are going to be the table centerpieces but I just wonder if it will be enough... since they are 8 ft long tables all 4 tables will have a different centerpiece

The table clothes i think her mom said were just light pink plastic table cloths

2 of the tables centerpieces will be the wrapped packages & gift bag( they have yarn poms and yarn ribbon on them)

The other 2 tables will have the Diaper Bear & Diaper Cake centerpiece

I had thought about adding a very small vase of fresh flowers to each table clustered in with the centerpiece and maybe a couple votive candles. I would like to do more with the table though to break up all that pink

I also had read a suggestion from another Bee where they were using vases from their candy buffet and floating a duck in it and coloring the water I thought about doing one or two of these sitting around te room

I dunno i just feel like there should be more... any inexpensive easy ideas would be wonderful

I think the centerpieces are cute.  I've never seen the bear before!  One cheap idea that I've seen recently (that you could use to break up the pink of the tablecloths) is to use wrapping paper as a table runner.  Since they're probably regular rectangular tables, you'd probably need to cut the paper in half length-wise (which means you'd need half as much, less $). Anything left from your wedding that you can re-use?  I've re-used candles and Mason jars from my centerpieces.
