She sounds amazing! I am sure you will be an amazing mother as well 🙂  I am actually getting my SIL (who is throwing my baby shower) a gift certificate to the salon that she likes to go. Is there something she likes/loves to do, but doesnt always have the chance to do so?  Maybe something to be pampered. Every mother loves pampering 🙂

What are her interests/hobbies/likes?

I got the hostess of my baby shower a set of flavored olive oils and vinegars that I knew she and her husband would really enjoy.

IMO I would just write her a personal thank you and have your strive to be a good mother like you quote/statement in there and then get her a pampering gift or something she can really use.

I think a really nice thank you note would be a great idea.

Are there any photographers in the area? Maybe getting her a small session to get photos wth her and her daughters would be a fun idea and way to help her remember the time she spent being an awesome mom!

ETA– that could be pricey, unless you have a connection–

@RoyalLime:  On they have these photo cubes where you can have a personalized message engraved on the top of them. Perhpas put your saying on that? It also has a spot for some photos, so you could either load them up with pictures of her and her kids or something.

You might find other ideas on that website too. I like personalized gifts.

Start her a Pandora bracelet? I don’t know why that just popped into my head – I don’t even like them but when you said mom and sentimental the thought just occurred. Maybe it’s my pregger brain kicking in although my Dr swears that they have done tons of studies and have never been able to demonstrate a correlation between pregnancy and decreased brain functioning – right. Best wishes!
