Hi everyone! I’m hoping I could get some help! My co-worker and I are throwing a baby shower for our boss (who’s also a good friend). We’re having a co-ed shower to invite all of our co-workers to. Together we’ve thrown 2 baby showers, but both were all female.
My quesiton is do you have any ideas or games or…anything for a Minion (Despicable Me) themed baby shower? I mean we can change the theme if you have games for “regular” baby showers. Any ideas are welcome!
Thanks in advance!

@MmeSilverBullet: I googled “despicable me baby shower” and a bunch of stuff showed up….

@MmeSilverBullet: Depending on how much room you have…
I would do a “Dispicable Olympics”. Divide into teams and do “Crazy Olympics” kind of games.
You could do pin the eyes on the minion
Something with nerf guns maybe?
Everyone gets the same (huge) amount of Poly-fill and the first to stuff it into something small (a small balloon maybe?) wins. (I’m thinking of the “It’s so fluffy!!! scene)
I did a game called “Ice Ice Baby” (Sometimes “My Water Broke”), which you could change up to refer to someone using a freeze ray or something. You take something like dixie cups a fill them with water & a small plastic baby (you can get them in the baby shower section at party supply stores) then freeze them. People have to try to melt the baby out. Be sure to specify that they can’t stab the ice or use any sort of heating element… we had a co-ed shower and guys were throwing their ice at the wall or busting out their lighters!! Body heat only!!

I went to a baby shower where everyone brought a onesie that represented them. So guys could bring one of their favorite football team or something like that. It was anonymous at first, then the mommie to be had to guess who gave each one. It was fun seeing her try to see how much she knew her guests. 🙂
EDIT: This is the one I got because I’m in healthcare.

@CocoLoco523: That’s a cute idea. Unfortunately, we all work in the same store so it may be fun for outside activities, but otherwise they’d all be the same.

@MmeSilverBullet: yeah it can work for things like that. One girl liked photography so she got one with a camera. Another did triathlons so it had a bike. Another said “my aunt and I got in trouble again…” from the mom’s little sister. I think someone did one from the college they attended. doesn’t have to be career related. 🙂
