I'll be 23 weeks on Saturday and I feel my baby moving more and more. He is especially active in the mid- morning and in the evenings, but I'm starting to feel kicks at all different times.
I picked bed time and all day every day. He's most active at bed time, usually between 9pm and midnight, but I get kicks on and off all day long. I LOVE IT!
Between like 32 and 34 weeks, my baby was practically constantly moving! I'm talking like huge flips and kicks like he/she wants to be in Cirque de Soleil, so much so you could watch my belly make wave movements and thump out. That's slowing down a little now. I'm 35+ weeks and I CANNOT STAND when baby has the hiccups!
When did you ladies first start feeling movement?? I have laid still in bed the past couple nights hoping to feel them but nothing yet - can't wait til I can feel them!
I think I started feeling movement around 18 weeks. It was much less noticable than it is now though. At first it felt like tiny little bubbles or pokes and sometimes it would feel like a vibrating. How many weeks are you now? You could try drinking juice and then laying on your left side and seeing if you feel anything. At first I noticed the movement the most if I was sitting on the couch and leaning forward to type on my laptop.
I started feeling kicks around 20 weeks and now I am 30 weeks and the baby is constantly moving...you can see the wave and the pokes and I LOVE IT!!! I can tell what kind of music she reacts to and what sounds interest her...
my baby is the most active at night. I'm 36 weeks so she moves off and on all day, but she goes crazy if I go to the movies or listen to music.
Mine is just starting to really move all the time now @24 weeks. For awhile she didn't do much and it had be really scared!
A neat little fact for ya! With my first he would kick at the same time every single day and then be still at the same time. When he was born he had the exact same wake and sleep schedule as he did in the womb. Even almost 3 years later he still naps at the same time. So pay attention to those kicks! And get used to being awake at that time =)
For me it's pretty sporadic throughout the day, but it really seems to happen the most when I'm in the car! (I really hope that's not something that is still true outside the womb, I want my kid to SLEEP in the car!)
For me it seems to be mid morning or bedtime (10 or 11p.m) :)
I felt the first real kicks at about 20 weeks. How about you?
@AnamCara: I started feeling flutters around 17 weeks, but they got much stronger by about 19 weeks.
@jubyju22: I'm 21 weeks now. I'm about to go to bed, but I may just need to have a cup of juice before just to see if I can get any kicks in bed. :) Thanks for the idea!
@Lozza: When I first felt one from the outside I was in the car, too!
@Sulli301: I started feeling them really well from the outside maybe last week or the week before. I'm at 21 weeks now and this week they've been pretty strong. I had a few of them about half an hour ago and when they first started the first one scared me and made me jump a little, haha!
I think I'll try the juice trick tonight. I thought I might feel them sooner since there's two of them but it'll be 16 weeks on Tuesday so maybe in the next week or so I'll be able to detect them. I cannot wait! We have an ultrasound on Tuesday too so I'm excited to see them again. The belly is growing every day so I want to see who's in there again!
Hope all the mamas to be are feeling well!

I've been feeling lots more movement lately, and the hubby finally got to feel a kick the other day! :) So, it got me thinking, when is your belly baby most active? And how far into your pregnancy did you start feeling movement?
