We had ours on the same weekend, which was nice because then one of us wasn’t sitting home alone wondering what the other was doing at their party.

I personally wanted the same weekend because we typical spend a ton of time apart but I totally understand the dog thing and makes sense. We have great dog grandparents so we don’t have to worry, otherwise I’d think the same.

We did ours on the same night but we agreed no matter what we both slept at home so we didnt have to worry about the dog.

@justpeachy123:  We are probably doing ours on separate weekends. We have two dogs and a bird and are likely to take a weekend to do the bachelor/bachelorette parties. FI often goes to a lakehouse with his friends for that kind of stuff. I’m thinking the ladies and I may go to the beach.

We did ours the same weekend……

We actually did a co-ed breakfast the following morning for those that stayed in the area…  It was our way of saying thank you for the parties…….

We did ours on the same night just because that worked out best for everyone. However, we didn’t live together at the time so it really didn’t matter if we were both out at the same time. 🙂

I’d say you are over thinking it. Someone can let your dog out I’m sure. Whichever way is easiest and makes the most sense you should do.

Different weekends only bc I’ll probably have to work when his is. I would have preferred it to be the same, though.

@justpeachy123:  I would have had ours on the same night but I actually didn’t end up having one. FI went out with the boys and I stayed home with a few ladies and had wine.

If I would have went out though, I would prefer it on the same night.

Not sure if somethign like this would work for you, but I went to an absolutely incredible bachlorette party where, after the boys and girls were done partying separately, they all met back at someone’s farm and had a giant bonfire. Suuuch a good night!

@justpeachy123:  we were originally planning for the same night, but his groomsmen can’t come in town earlier than the week of the wedding, so he’s just going to have a low-key guys night when I have my bachelorette and I’ll be prepping for the wedding while he has his.

@justpeachy123:  We will be doing ours on different weekends for exactly those reasons – we don’t want to have to find someone to watch the dog (both of ours will be out of town) and we want to be able to come get the other just in case something happens (we both drink quite a bit and have CRAZY partier friends).
