I’ve noticed from seeeing friends and from my experience myself …that no matter how clean or rules you set for your FI, the groomsmen seem to almost always have their own agenda in mind for bachelor party. My FI groomsmen suprised him by taking him to a strip club, which is fine. They talked about it for days. I regret not having it the same, would’ve loved a Magic Mike night.
Have you and your FI discussed how your celebrating will be, or any rules set? Are yout both okay with strip clubs, and lap dances?

We’ve talked about it and neither of us will be going to strip clubs. It’s something we both think is important. We’ve already established this ground rule, and made it VERY clear to his groomsmen that they are not to take him to one, or to get a stripper, or anything. My bridesmaids know the same for me. I really hope that everyone listens to this….
Going to the movies to see Magic Mike and get late-night drinks though would be fun!!

we’ve talked. we both agree we don’t care what the other person does as long as it’s safe (no drunk driving) and there’s no sex. other than that… whatever. he can have as many lap dances and titties in his face as he wants. he comes home to me.

We didnt talk about it because if it happened we wouldn’t care, but as it turns out neither of us did because we don’t care to waste our money there and for the most part neither do mine or his friends
DH went out of town to the NCAA tournament with his guys and they went to a nice dinner and really only had one long night of drinking.
I flew home and had a relatively low key bachlorette. Wine and cheese and lots of chatting the first night and dinner and a club the second night.

We have talked about it and while my FI typically isn’t into strippers and partying, his groomsmen are a different story. They will make sure he is drunk and strippers are a possibility.
I am ok with that. In fact, I told him I didn’t want details and I wasn’t giving him details either. Ground rules…Nothing inappropriate should happen. My friends and I are going to Nashville for the weekend to celebrate so I’m sure it will be a fun time!
