Just wondering if asking my close friends to do a 3 day bachelorette cruise is to much?

Cruise is $260 plus spending money.

Let me know what you think!

We went on a 3-night cruise for my BFF's bachelorette... it was TONS OF FUN!  I think it was well worth it-- I would do it again in a heartbeat!

That said, it really depends on how "financially stable" your close friends are... do you think they would all be ok with spending the money?  For some people, $300 is pocket change, for others, it puts dinner on the table for a month.

For me the issue would probably be with having to take a vacation day and not so much the money (especially if I was a BM and then had to take off another day for the rehearsal). But if you told me far enough in advance so I could plan my vacation days and work with my schedule, I think it sounds like a lot of fun and not too much money.

i think it depends on your friends situations. we tend to go overboard for our bachelorette parties in my family. we flew my sil to ny, and they flew me to vermont for the weekend and paid for everything! wouldn't let me pay for a meal even. so a cruise would be pretty cheap compared to what we spend... i think we just use the bachelorette party for an excuse for a vacation though!

My friends are doing that for my bachelorette party in April! I think everyone was just excited to take a weekend trip, regardless of the reason. My MOH worked out a payment plan for everyone so that nobody had to put the whole chunk of cash down at once.

I have been hinting to my BM's & MOH to go on a cruise! I said I'd even pay for my flight.  I figure that going anywhere else would cost about the same (w/o the flight cost)! I can only hope :)

It really depends on how financially stable your girls are!

But it sounds like a TON of fun!
