Fourth Street Live is in the heart of downtown....offers lots of entertainment and you'll have lots of bars to hop too, go bowling, dualing piano bars, and lots of dancing! Your best bet!
YEY!!! I live here! I too say Fourth Street Live... its right down the street from where I work!! There is a Hard Rock Cafe etc.

Thanks! Our hotel, The Galt House, is on 4th St...so glad to know that's a fun area! I thought it might be fun to do a wine tasting in the hotel room (like Mrs. Martini), do you know of anyone who does this?
Bardstown Rd. in the Highlands is also super fun. If you want to go out for dinner there are a lot of cool spots in that area as well as bars.
Not sure about the wine tasting. If there is something like that available you should be able to find it online or maybe the hotel could help you.

If its in the summer or spring (I got married in january and couldn't) rent the Pool Party Express! It's a firetruck converted with a hot tub on top - maybe the greatest idea ever! http://www.poolpartyexpress.com/
I see it drive by my apartment in the Highlands all the time and it looks SO FUN! We just went for karaoke and margaritas for my bachelorette party.
Check out 21C - it's nationally known - Proof is the bar/restaurant. Or you could try Makers Mark - it's got it's own back room specifically for parties and is right on 4th street - would be good for a dinner then you could head out to the other bars.
Galt house is downtown so if you go to 4th street and you won't have far to go to get back to your hotel.

Hi!
One of my best friends is having her bachelorette party in Louisville, KY. I haven't been there in years, but loved it (my grandmother grew up there).
