I’m in charge to plan a bachelorette for my friend and I’m looking for some great and fun ideas. We were thinking Niagara Falls but the bride has already done the vineyard tour so I was hoping for another idea. The bride lives in Toronto so we want to bring her elsewhere for the bachelorette. Any ideas would be helpful.

@Juliebrunelle: St Jacob’s, if she’s into the countryside. If you want to go all out, hop the train, or find cheap flights if you can, to Montreal. If you can all fit in one vehicle, it’s a half day’s leisurely drive. Ottawa is fun, too, but if you’re looking to party, Montreal is the town for that!
Know anyone with a cottage? If the time of year works, that could be a fun bachelorette weekend. Stock up on favourite drinks, grill every day, swim and hike and dance.

@Juliebrunelle: I live 5 min from St. jacobs and it isn’t anything special… A market and some crappy touristy stores… lol. Just FYI :).
I’m not sure what else to suggest. I just spent yesterday in Niagara, lol.
Depends what kind of party she wants – relaxed, partying, low cost…? 🙂

Niagara Falls has the casinos and quite a few clubs with some decent restaurants. There’s tons of hotels so you shouldn’t have a hard time finding one. Just be warned, nothing is cheap down there. After a night out down there my friends and I once went to IHOP for breakfast and I think it cost us $20.00 each for a basic meal.
If you wanted to head north a bit there’s Collingwood. Also, not cheap. Lots of bars and yummy (expensive) restaurants. I recently went to a bachelorette up there and the next morning we all got up early and went to Scandanive Spa. Its $50 to use their hot and cold pools and steam and sauna rooms. You can stay all day for that, lunch isn’t included though. I thought it was a lovely relaxing day and the best way to end off the weekend. If you go there though be there EARLY. They let people in in groups and there’s a max amount of people that can be in there at one time so if you don’t get there early you could be waiting a long time.

I went to Montreal for mine and loved it. We went for the whole weekend though so the drive wasn’t bad.
Collingwood/Blue Mountain is nice as well and I second the spa.
Cottage is also a great idea if the girl is into that sort of thing. Or you could buy a package at some type of resort/hotel/b&b for the weekend as well. They are usually Algonquin area or Huntsville.

@Juliebrunelle: I went to one in Ottawa where we went to a drag show competition. It was fun!
Also, Montreal is an amazingly friendly city with lots of risqué things 😉

Flights from Toronto to Montreal can be really cheap. I’ve seen them as low as $58 for one way 🙂
