When are you guys doing your Bachelorette parties? My girlfriends and I are spread out all over the country, and about 99% will already be traveling across the country for the wedding. I really don’t want to ask people to spend money on two vacations in one year, so I am leaning towards doing something the Thursday before the wedding, just for all those who can make it into town early. It will also be right after my 30th bday! It won’t be anything crazy, but maybe mani/pedis, wine tasting somewhere, dinner, and drinks somewhere fun.

We decided that the second week in October would be best for my bachelorette party. Though the farthest my gigave have to come is 3 hours, not sure if I’m much help 🙂
If some of your girls are coming in from far away already for the wedding, then I think the Thursday before would be considerate!

I think that Thursday is a good idea since you are having girls come in from out of state. Im thinking about having mine exactly a week before the wedding. So the friday before the wedding. My best friend would have to fly in early so she could come to the party, help me do last min stuff and just stay till the wedding. My bachelorette party will be 5 days after my 23rd birthday! Gonna go all out. Im thinking limo, club/bar hoping, bachelorette scavenger hunt! It will be really fun. Last night of partying lol

Thursday is a good idea since you have so many out of state. I had mine about 3 weeks before, but the furtherest girl only had to drive about 4 hours.

I’m kind of in the same boat! Originally from San Diego nut now live with my FI in Louisiana. So we both decided that we would forgo any engagement parties/showers and do two bachelor/ette parties! I have one with my SD girls in Vegas at the end of August (gotta make sure we can hit up pool parties 😉 and I have one scheduled before or after that for a weekend with my Louisiana girls at our friend’s house out in Orange Beach. This way we aren’t having everyone travel SO far for parties and wedding!

NO CLUE. I wish my girls would give me some sort of a heads up! Either they’re surprising me or they’re just totally unorganized and haven’t even thought about it yet! haha

Im currently in school, so my girls are planning mine for late August.

I’m getting married in September but we are doing mine July 31-Aug 4 in Vegas. I didn’t want to worry about traveling a month before my wedding so I wanted it a little bit earlier. It will be really hot so I guess I’ll have to spend my days at the pool or sleeping in!
I think anytime from the week before to 2 months before is a pretty good time frame!

we are getting married Oct 26th, i am having my hen night (bachelorette party) on the 5th but then i have also been told by my MOH to keep the following weekend (11th – 13th) free too… and that i need my passport!! Eeeeep!!! lol!!

My bridesmaids and I have very busy and different schedules. I am in a Ph.D program, the MOH is in the navy, and another is a teacher. We had a three week window in July to do it so it ended up getting scheduled for July 20th-exactly 3 months before the wedding.

My friends are all coming from out of town and are arriving on 10/17, so that will probably be when my bachelorette happens.

We are both doing a float trip weekend for my bachelorette and his bachelor party so we had to pick a weekend a few months from the wedding while it’s still warm enough. We’ll be going the same weekend and same area but different resorts. The party is Aug 9-11th, I can’t wait!

Summer Bachelorette party! I’m pretty busy all of September and October (including someone elses wedding two weeks prior to mine!) So we’ve picked July 20th as our girls night out. Whatever it is, it’ll be awesome!

All of these sound fun! I am in the same boat with bridesmaids all over and I’m out of town as well. Not sure if I’ll even be doing a bachelorette party…but the thursday before is an idea..
