Our guys went river rafting, then headed to Tahoe to spend the night gambling and all. It was last weekend and there were about 8 of them. This weekend some future cousins threw me a pleasure party and we had 6 constant guests and 2 that were just there for a bit.
We were supposed to have a combined party like the pleasure party then the girls and guys were supposed to go out later seperately, but the best man messed that plan up when he planned the rafting deal.
My bachelorette party is a surprise, but it's a one night deal as my girlfriends are my age or older and have lots of responsibilities (I'm 39). However, my guest list is for 8 girls including the 2 hostesses. I don't know that all of them will make it.
Ok... I didn't know if I had to invite more people. I have no clue what we're doing. Sounds like it'll be my BMs (5 minus one) and me and I think I'll invite one or two other friends. I've only been to one b-party and I only knew the bride and her younger sister. To top if off they all spoke spanish to eachother while I stood by the food table trying to look busy. LOL My FI's bachelor party was obviously the more the merrier... But I guess girls keep it more intimate??? IDK... I wish we could take a big trip somewhere but to be with my bestest anywhere should be fun.
I'm really excited about my bachelorette party. Its also a surprise. All the girls have told me is that I'm going to need to pack all of my snowboarding gear, including my backcountry stuff... bring my passport (not sure if that is a red herring)... and a bathing suit... They tell me that fiance will be bringing me to the local airport.
I know my bachelorette will be small, because only so many of my girls are good enough to go backcountry snowboarding. I think it is going to rock!
My bachelorette party had anywhere from 7 to 13 people depending on what was happening - it was a LOT of fun! We went burlesque dancing, ate tons of Greek food, then had a lingerie shower and watched Amelie. :)
To you ladies that had or will have a bachelorette party how big was your guestlist and what did you guys do?
