Is the bride supposed to get the attendees of her bachelorette party anything? Did you ladies? I saw someone posted a hangover kit or something similar? Not sure if I should! And no I don’t mean like boas, or bridesmaids tanks or anything like that

@Meggiemo: Oh gosh I hope not, posting to follow. I’m going to have like 20 women at the bachelorette party, even a $5 plastic junk gift is going to set me back $100 :-/

By no means are you EXPECTED to get them anything. I recently posted my hangover kits that I made for my BMs. It was just a fun little thing to say thank you and help the girls out on their travels home. Alka Selzer, Pepto, ginger ale, bottled water, and snacks were all I put in it. They thought the kits were cute, and got a kick out of the poem. Granted, I only had my 8 BMs with me, so it wasn’t a ton of girls!

@jennmariee: that’s what I was thinking!
I like the hangover kit ideas, maybe I’ll just do a pack of gum and headache medicing tied in a ribbon? Ugh we’ll see lol it is next weekend though!

I’ve never received a favor or gift from the bride at a bachelorette party, nor did I give gifts at mine. It’s a sweet gesture if you’d like to but definitely not necessary!

@Meggiemo: I’ve never been given a gift by the bride at her bachelorette.. Always giving the bride the gifts/ surprises!

@Meggiemo: I don’t think you have to give anything at all! I’ve never received anything for going to a bachelorette! Though I am planning on giving my girls the bulk of their gifts on the day of the bachelorette… Which now makes me worry if they will think it is just a bachelorette gift… Either you don’t have to give anything! The night is about you girls spending time together!
