We went to a major league baseball game then went out after for a little while, it was great! There were three other bachelorette parties just in our section. Others I’ve seen are the “painting with a twist” where you bring wine and they teach you to paint, winery tours, etc. My only request was no overnight trip for mine, those are just a drag for everyone.

we did dinner and comedy club show. i just hosted one for a cousin- we did painting class and brought our drinks and dessert. had pizza at her house and watched chickflicks. and played drop your panty game and a chick flick movie game-(drop panty game is not as dirty as it sounds- everyone brings a pair of new underwear in bride to be size- wrap each piece up with same color tissue paper without bride to be noticing what you are doing. when everything is in box -present the box to bride to be- she pulls out each pair and tries to guess who got her which pair. we stumped our bride to be because one person didnt bring a pair and so bride to be was guessing for a while.

the movie game was tell the correct title of the movie based on the words giving— filthy jitterbug– dirty dancing.  fair haired laywer– legally blonde… ect..

I stayed local and folks that could came to me. We took advantage of what we have and tried to keep it on the cheaper and simpler side of things.

3:30PM cocktails and light fare at my house hosted by my sisters, the MOH’s

4:30PM transportation arrived to take us downtown

5PM – 6:30PM Harbor sail

6:30PM to 8:15PM – Drinks and a nosh at an outside bar overlooking the water

8:30PM to 12AM – Dinner

12AM – Presented with 3′ blow up penis and had to do the walk of shame back to the car.

12:30AM – Tranported back home, very drunk and soon asleep.

mbentley93:  Ok, I have been to several bach parties!  Here’s what I’ve seen:

  • Major league baseball game (just like PP) + tailgating + party bus
  • Roller derby + strip joint
  • Pub on a bicycle
  • Trolley pub crawl
  • Football game
  • Vegas
  • Nashville
  • Painting/wine + salsa lessons

Those are a few of the more memorable ones.  As for me, I just had a wine and cheese night with girlfriends.  I prefer something a little more low key.

My MOH rented a suite at our local “upscale” hotel, this was our home base. BM’s decorated it and supplied drinks and desserts. We all met there then went to dinner in the hotel. Came back to our room and had desserts and played games. After that our transportation (a pink SUV limo lol) picked us up and took us out on the town! It was a great time! I loved that no one had to worry about it being at their house, we had plenty of space for everyone to spend the night, and transportation was taken care of so we didn’t have to worry about anyone drinking and trying to drive!

My party is on the 30th. So far I know that it starts at 5, and we’ll eat then. Then we’re doing a painting party from 6:30-8:30. After that, doing some games and may head out to a couple bars in town before everyone goes home. I’m excited that it’s fun, but still somewhat lowkey.

I have planned quite a few of them for friends. For one, we did a wine/cheese tasting, then ate, played games, then took a party bus around town. Party buses are really popular around here.

Mine just happened! We had a cottage country girls weekend. My bridal party gave each girl a loot bag with a tutu (for saturday night’s bar night), a custom scavenger hunt card, a spa set and a custom shot glass. The weekend was called Alisha’s Beach and Bar Bachelorette.

Friday night: Spa night with the ladies

Saturday: Beach day, followed  by dinner, and then getting ready for the bar. Oh and giant penis cake.  At the bar the girls had custom cards with instructions to do certain things (ie use the men’s washroom), and they were split into groups of 3. General shenanigans ensued.

Sunday: Beach and brunch, and then we all went home.

All in all, it was fantasticccc and very well organized by my amazing bridal party.
