You could do something like… each person talking about the first time they met the bride, like a funny memory or something.

If you’re drinking you could all pick a few words, and not tell the bride, and any time she says those words, e.g. wedding, grooms name, dress, you all have to take a shot. That could still work if you did tell the bride – us wedding chicks just can’t stop talking!

You could maybe create a video before hand, of family/friends giving advice or memories about the bride and groom and play it to her.

Other than that, I would suggest booking some beauty therapists to come out and give mani/pedis and facials, and maybe a caterer if you can afford it… or ask the girls who are good cooks to throw together some grub. Also make use of the lake!

I think it sounds like an awesome weekend.

This goes off the idea that the PP had with picking a few words.. except at the beginning of the party, you give each attendant 5 buttons or ribbons or whatever you choose to use, and anytime someone catches someone else using one of those words, they get to take one of the persons ribbons, at the end of the night or weekend or whatever, whoever has the most ribbons gets a prize.

Baking party, lingerie shower, and not much else if there is nothing to do…. You could also do one of those ‘how well do you know your husband’ games with her and email a list of questions to the fiancé. I’d also ask her why she wants it there if there’s nothing to do-she may have very specific ideas about doing a mani-pedi party or a DIY wine tasting or something else

Spa activities that you can do at the house, movies (new chick flicks!), make your own mixed drink…play apples to apples or cards against humanity (always popular) – anything you can think of thats relaxing and bride centered. I went to a very “non penis” bachelorette party recently and they had a game where every person bought a new pair of underwear for the bride. The bride had to guess who bought which one. ..and then got to keep it!

Also ask for other to pitch in. Not out of line at all!

I certainly think it is fine to ask everyone to pitch in!! I wouldn’t do iton the official invitation, but do talk to everyone (in person is preferable, but a phone call will do!) and make sure everyone understands and agrees!
